Engitist supplies chipmakers and packaging companies with equipment that measures semiconductor structures and detects defects during manufacturing. Its systems combine optical measurement, precision mechanics, image processing and process-control software.
Equipment and customers
The product range covers thin-film measurement, optical critical-dimension measurement and three-dimensional inspection of the tiny interconnect bumps used in advanced packaging. HIMA systems inspect bump geometry, while other product families address wafer defects and display manufacturing. The business designs, manufactures and industrialises these tools for production lines.
