Donut Robotics develops humanoid robots and communication technology for use in settings such as elderly-care facilities.

Humanoids shaped by work on site

Donut Robotics develops the cinnamon humanoid platform, combining robot hardware with conversational functions and control technology. Its work draws on earlier translation and guidance robots and experience introducing robots into operating environments.

In elderly care, the company is testing cinnamon with residents and staff. A pilot introduced in July 2026 initially centres on conversation and communication, while development plans include patrol functions and responses to nurse calls.

Developing alongside care providers

The company works with operators to identify practical tasks and safety requirements within care facilities. Its development programme aims to turn those requirements into functions that support residents and staff as humanoid technology matures.
