ag-tech.systems makes tractor-mounted equipment for growers to control weeds and dry crops before harvest using electricity and a conductive fluid.
Electrical treatment in the field
The epc.160 applies high-voltage pulses to vegetation. A fluid called volt.fuel is sprayed ahead of the electrodes to lower electrical resistance, allowing the treatment to disrupt plant tissue. Farmers control the equipment through an ISOBUS-compatible tractor display. Applications include potato haulm destruction before harvest, cover-crop termination and emerged weeds.
Equipment and field support
Growers and contractors can buy, rent or lease machines. The company lists agricultural-equipment distributors in Germany, Spain and Canada and offers field demonstrations. It reports six seasons of field work with 38 machines across 12 countries; these are company-reported deployment figures.
