A5X is developing a derivatives exchange and clearing house to give banks, brokers, market makers and other financial institutions another venue for trading and post-trade processing. Its planned platform combines LSEG trading and clearing technology with proprietary infrastructure designed for Brazilian products and regulatory requirements.
A5X remains in build-out: its September 2026 announcement said the company was preparing for a first-half 2027 launch. It had more than 200 employees and was using the new capital to fund regulatory and operating requirements through launch and its first years.
