ZUKUTOCHIE raises ¥88m from Oriental Land Innovations
The minority equity investment will support tourism-property redevelopment and hiring around Hakuba.
ZUKUTOCHIE announced an ¥88 million investment from Oriental Land Innovations on 22 October. The new-share allotment was completed in September.
The Hakuba-based tourism business will use the capital to acquire and revitalise visitor facilities and recruit staff. It develops and operates accommodation, restaurants, saunas and other local tourism businesses.
Oriental Land Innovations is taking a minority stake. The investment brings access to facility-management and staff-development expertise, while ZUKUTOCHIE’s management team remains in place.
