Zorit raises nearly ₹27 crore as Bijnis adopts a new brand
Sparrow Capital leads financing for the Indian factory-to-retailer commerce company.
The financing
Zorit, formerly Bijnis, has raised nearly ₹27 crore in a round led by Sparrow Capital, according to an October 28 report. Info Edge, WaterBridge and Better Capital participated, alongside angel investors and employees. Named angels include Anupam Mittal, Mohit Sardana and Sarthak Misra.
Restocking through local inventory
The business connects factories with independent retailers, using owned inventory and local dark stores to shorten replenishment times. The rebrand follows its move from a marketplace towards quick commerce in late 2024. Its catalogue focuses on footwear and apparel.
Info Edge’s proposed additional purchase of existing shares is a separate secondary transaction. It is not included as new company capital in the reported round.
