Zeal raises $10 million as payment providers sign up for a four-million-terminal rollout
Zeal’s loyalty software adds a new engagement layer to supported payment terminals, with contracted activations planned over the next two years.
Loyalty software alongside payment processing
Zeal lets merchants configure points or stamp-based rewards at checkout, while payment providers can deploy those tools across the terminals they support. The software can connect a purchase with customer engagement and merchant-health signals; the terminal provider remains responsible for processing the payment.
The company says signed contracts cover planned activation on more than four million card machines over the next 24 months. That gives Zeal a route to scale through acquirers and payment-service providers, while leaving the installations to be rolled out over time.
