Wuchi Wami secures investment to expand Zambian honey production

Inside Capital Partners is backing the honey producer’s processing capacity and regional sales.

Inside Capital Partners has invested in Wuchi Wami, the Zambian honey producer, to support more processing and packing capacity and wider regional distribution. The announcement did not disclose the investment amount.

The expansion addresses a practical bottleneck between beekeepers and buyers: honey needs to be collected, processed and packed before it can reach supermarket shelves or manufacturing customers. Wuchi Wami plans to grow both its branded retail sales and private-label business, alongside the network of beekeepers supplying it.
