Vivici awarded €12.5m in EIC Accelerator funding
The June 2026 blended-finance award backs expansion of the Dutch protein-ingredients business.
Announced on 17 June, the award supports wider supply and market access for Vivici’s Vivitein proteins and further ingredient development. The EIC Accelerator combines grants with equity investment; this announcement describes an award rather than confirming that the whole amount has been disbursed.
Vivici had commercialised beta-lactoglobulin and introduced a second ingredient, lactoferrin, in the US. The new support is intended to help the business meet demand from food and nutrition companies.
