TowerNorth secures growth capital and closes new debt facility
Berkshire Partners provided additional growth capital as TowerNorth expands its wireless-tower portfolio and development pipeline.
Building more capacity for wireless networks
TowerNorth develops, owns and operates communications towers that wireless carriers use to extend network coverage and capacity. The company works with carriers, landowners and municipalities to identify sites and navigate the permitting and construction work required to bring new towers online.
The September transaction combines additional growth capital from Berkshire Partners with a newly closed debt facility; neither amount was disclosed. TowerNorth says its portfolio has grown from 64 towers to 231 since Berkshire’s 2023 investment, including 28 towers acquired since the start of 2026.
