An additional channel in the cockpit

The TNO spin-off uses tactile feedback to convey information without adding another screen or sound. Its initial work focuses on pilots operating under high workload, with possible applications in ground operations, sport and healthcare.

Developing the wearable technology

SecFund led the €1.5 million financing. TNO Ventures, Brabant Startup Fonds, imec.istart and Joanna Invests also participated. The company will accelerate development of its wearable haptic systems; the announcement also cites support from NWO’s Take-off 2 programme.
