Tomato Jos secures impact-linked naira loan from Sabou Capital
The lender reported the May 2026 facility at a US$2 million equivalent to support local tomato processing and farmer sourcing.
Sabou announced the financing on 22 May. The debt is denominated in naira and links the lender’s financial return to social and economic outcomes from Tomato Jos’s operations.
The Kaduna-based manufacturer will use the facility to expand processing capacity and its smallholder supply network. Sabou said the business employed 204 people and sourced from more than 3,000 farmers at the time of the announcement.
