Tenstorrent closes $1.5 billion Series E for AI compute rollout

Trace Capital and Innovation X co-led the equity financing at a $6.2 billion post-money valuation.

Tenstorrent has closed its Series E as it moves from chip and system development toward larger commercial deployments. The financing supports a business that sells ready-made computing systems while licensing core designs to customers building their own processors.

That model gives the company two routes to market: enterprises can purchase infrastructure for running AI models, while semiconductor customers can incorporate its technology into custom chips. The raise values Tenstorrent at $6.2 billion after the investment.
