Work that survives a failure

Temporal records application progress so a payment, business process or AI agent can resume after an outage. Developers can host the open-source platform themselves or use Temporal Cloud. The same execution layer supports conventional software and agents running for days or weeks.

Growing production use

At the announcement, Temporal reported more than 20 million installations per month and 9.1 trillion lifetime actions executed through its cloud service. The financing values the company at $5 billion and supports further platform development.
