A kitchen close to the customer

Swish owns food preparation and delivery rather than routing orders to third-party restaurants. Its compact neighbourhood network serves everyday meals as well as snacks, with kitchens operating close to the customers they supply.

March funding and September extension

Hara Global and Bain Capital Ventures led the initial $38 million Series B. Bertelsmann India Investments led a further $24 million in September, taking the same round to $62 million. By that later announcement, monthly orders exceeded one million and the business was building out its Delhi NCR presence.

Where the funding goes

  • Kitchen capacity and supply-chain infrastructure
  • Denser coverage in Bengaluru and Delhi NCR, followed by more cities
  • Kitchen automation and team expansion
