Supabase announces GIC-led financing alongside Turso acquisition
CapitalG, IronArc and SquarePeg join the round as Supabase expands database infrastructure for AI agents.
Supabase announced a $150m financing on October 2, led by GIC with participation from CapitalG, IronArc and SquarePeg. The round will support product development and employee liquidity; the company did not separate new company capital from share-sale proceeds. It follows June’s $500m Series F.
Supabase also announced an agreement to acquire Turso, whose architecture supports large numbers of isolated databases at low cost. Turso will continue operating, while its team joins Supabase to develop services for agent workloads. The purchase price was not disclosed.
AI agents create databases for experiments, applications and other tasks, increasing demand for infrastructure that can provision many small databases without a dedicated machine for each. Supabase is combining its Postgres platform with Turso’s approach to serve that demand.
