SoVa announces roughly ¥280 million Series A for outsourced back-office work
The August 2024 round added Boost Capital as SoVa developed services combining specialist staff with software.
SoVa announced its Series A on 21 August 2024, raising approximately ¥280 million through newly issued shares. Boost Capital joined JAFCO, Globe Advisors Ventures, Coconala Skill Partners and Chugin Infinity Fund No. 2.
The financing followed a shift toward taking on more work directly for customers. SoVa’s outsourced plan covered bookkeeping, payroll and administrative procedures, alongside advice drawn from a company’s accounting data. The business intended to improve that service and develop further AI-supported management and cash-flow assistance.
Chugin’s participation also followed work with SoVa in Okayama, including a programme helping entrepreneurs establish businesses. A separate purchase of existing shares brought accountant Jun Watanabe onto the shareholder register; it sat outside the announced fundraising.
