Solvera raises $6.3m pre-seed to build an AI-powered engineering firm

Seedcamp leads the round as the Oslo company takes on building design projects directly, with engineers responsible for the finished work.

Financing a delivery business

Solvera announced its pre-seed financing on 15 October, backing a service business that charges clients for completed engineering work. The company uses its own AI systems within that service, while retaining responsibility for the designs it delivers.

Seedcamp says the business started operating in July and secured more than $1 million in contracted revenue within three months. That figure describes signed work, rather than cash already received. It gives the new round a concrete starting point: projects to deliver, alongside the technology to develop.

The syndicate includes specialist venture funds and individual backers with construction-technology experience. In addition to the investors named by Solvera, Seedcamp identifies former OBOS chief executive Daniel Kjørberg Siraj as an angel participant.
