SeeTrue Technologies raises €2.2m led by ZEISS Ventures
The Finnish company is bringing miniature eye sensing to smart eyewear, optical instruments and industrial devices.
Fitting eye input into small devices
Eye tracking places competing demands on the size, power consumption and processing capacity of a device. SeeTrue combines miniature sensing hardware with embedded processing so product designers can build gaze-based interaction into constrained optical and wearable systems.
The new backing also brings industry connections. ZEISS contributes optical-system expertise, while the optics and photonics accelerator Luminate and new investor Piotr Frasunkiewicz support the company’s international commercial work.
Superhero Capital and North Karelia Growth Fund joined the round, together with founding backers Niko Myller, Sueno Digital and Erkka Tahvanainen.
