Scarlet raises $50 million Series B to expand medical device certification
Headline leads backing for international expansion and a larger expert team.
Scarlet announced a $50 million Series B on October 12, led by Headline. New investor Notion Capital joined existing backers Atomico, Creandum, Kindred Capital and Entrepreneurs First.
The company will grow its expert team, broaden its certification capabilities and expand its presence in the US and Asia-Pacific. Its customers develop software and AI medical devices that require assessment before reaching patients.
Scarlet combines qualified reviewers with technology that organizes technical evidence. The approach supports certification of new devices and continuing software updates, linking the expansion plans to manufacturers’ need to improve products while maintaining regulatory approval.
