Ryft raises £20m Series B to expand embedded payments in Europe and the US
The funding will help the payments platform grow across Europe and the United States and reach more high-growth and enterprise businesses.
Payments built for platforms and marketplaces
Ryft lets marketplaces and platforms accept online and in-person payments through one integration. Its tools support seller onboarding and verification, payment acceptance, configurable commissions, automated splits and delayed or recurring payouts, so operators can manage multi-party transactions without assembling each part of the payment stack themselves.
Ryft announced a £20m Series B to support expansion into Europe and the United States and accelerate adoption among high-growth and enterprise businesses. The company says payment volume tripled in the year before the announcement and more than 6,500 businesses use its platform.
For a marketplace, the infrastructure can collect a buyer’s payment, deduct the platform’s fee and distribute the balance to the seller. Ryft also serves retailers and multi-location businesses that need unified payment operations across channels, extending the same core capabilities beyond marketplace transactions.
