Rozenama raises $150,000 pre-seed for Iraqi merchant expansion
Entrepreneur Mohammed Haider backed the Baghdad commerce platform ahead of its planned August rebuild.
Growth beyond Baghdad
Rozenama said active merchants rose from 250 to more than 900 over the preceding year, with registered users exceeding 13,000. Most of its growth in the previous six months came from outside the capital.
That geographic shift is significant for software designed around Iraqi delivery and cash-on-delivery operations: adoption depends on supporting local merchant workflows across governorates. The company scheduled its rebuilt platform for 25 August.
