Elevator Ventures backs Rivero’s expansion into Central and Eastern Europe
An undisclosed strategic investment supports the Zurich payment operations company’s growth through European banking networks.
Rivero has added Elevator Ventures as a strategic investor to support expansion across Europe, particularly Central and Eastern Europe. The amount and terms were not disclosed. Elevator’s portfolio identifies Rivero as an investment of its EV II EuVECA fund.
The company plans to keep developing Kajo, its payment-network compliance product, and Amiko, which handles disputes and fraud recovery. Elevator brings experience and relationships across European banking through its Raiffeisen network.
The investment follows Rivero’s earlier Series A financing. The new partnership centres on reaching more banks and financial institutions in markets where local relationships and an understanding of regulated operations shape software adoption.
