Jobe Bellingham leads $10 million backing for Rezzil

The sports technology business is expanding its international team and its work across training, broadcasts and fan experiences.

Rezzil has raised $10 million in a round led by footballer Jobe Bellingham, with putting coach Phil Kenyon and Simba Investments also involved. Bellingham’s investment forms part of a wider partnership with his family covering future digital initiatives.

The company is extending its work from virtual-reality training into what it calls movement intelligence: using sporting movement to produce insights and immersive experiences. Its expansion includes London and Chicago offices and plans to bring staffing to roughly 100 people.

The round connects Rezzil with practitioners from football and golf as it develops products for teams, broadcasters and rights holders. Its existing backers include the Premier League.
