Running stateful applications

Render hosts applications with long-running processes, private networking, WebSockets and managed databases. These capabilities support agents that need persistent state and extended execution rather than brief request-response cycles. The platform had more than 4.5 million developers at the announcement.

Expanding the runtime

Georgian led the $100 million Series C extension at a $1.5 billion valuation. Render plans durable workflows, object storage, managed sandboxes, shared filesystems, an AI gateway and unified observability. The extension brings its total funding to $258 million.
