Reframe Systems raises $40M to expand automated homebuilding
Its design-build model combines software, robotic fabrication and on-site assembly.
Factory methods for site-built homes
Software turns each home design into fabrication models and work instructions. Robotic workcells produce panels in local microfactories, then teams finish delivery and assembly at the site, allowing Reframe to customize homes while aiming for more predictable construction cost and schedules. The company has completed 10 homes and is expanding production in North America.
