Rapta raises $8m to expand manufacturing intelligence platform
Voyager Capital and Access Venture Partners co-led the round for software that checks assembly work and builds traceable production records.
Capturing quality evidence on the factory floor
Rapta uses cameras and sensors at manual and robotic workstations to compare builds with the expected process and flag issues while production is underway. Its computer-vision checks can cover wiring, torque, serial numbers, coatings and other details, helping teams address defects before a unit leaves the station.
The platform links parts, process steps, tools, operators and inspection evidence into a traceable production record across lines. That gives manufacturers a shared account of how a product was assembled, supporting quality control in high-precision environments such as defense and aerospace.
