Punch raises $2m to expand construction workflow software
Returning investor Gutter Capital backs the Atlanta company as it grows its engineering and customer teams.
Built with contractors, backed by customers
Founder Taylor Sandusky drew on his experience managing construction projects to build Punch around the administrative work that follows a day on site. The company’s funding announcement describes early customers as active contributors to the platform’s development. FinSMEs also reports participation from customer companies and technology angel investors, without naming them.
The next step is to bring that approach to more contractors while retaining each customer’s supplier preferences, approval rules and project practices. Capturing those procedures gives newer employees access to knowledge that otherwise sits with experienced colleagues.
