Plinto raises €2.9m pre-seed for AI financial controls
People Ventures and Emblem backed the Copenhagen startup’s product development and expansion.
Founded in 2025 by former Peakon colleagues, Plinto is moving into a market where finance teams often depend on sampling and month-end checks. Its agents investigate transactions continuously and help resolve discrepancies before incorrect payments leave the business.
The company reports paying customers and pilots in logistics, property, facility services and food production. The funding will help it win more enterprise customers and begin expanding beyond Denmark.
