Plinq raises R$1.3m ahead of a subscription-app shift

The Brazilian personal-safety startup is moving from one-off web searches toward recurring access.

Plinq’s first financing accompanies a change in how customers pay for its service. The company plans monthly subscriptions in place of individual searches, with existing web customers given a transition period.

The startup says its web service attracted more than 60,000 users and nearly 85,000 searches after launching in June 2025. Its next commercial model also includes advertising aimed at women and potential contracts with state governments.
