Play Well For Life received a £66,346 grant for its project on using augmented reality and AI-driven analytics to personalise wellbeing content in a social board game. Innovate UK named the company among the first projects funded through its Mindset programme on May 26, 2023.
The research centres on Dragons of Afterlands, a game that uses storytelling, shared challenges and wellbeing themes to encourage communication between young people. It combines digital interaction with a physical board-game experience and supports in-person or remote play.
The grant covers the company's research project, which ran from March to September 2023.
