Pasqal completes €170m private financing to expand quantum-computing capacity
The French quantum-computing developer plans manufacturing expansion, hiring and research into fault-tolerant systems.
Pasqal announced completion of a €170 million private funding round on 4 March 2026. Participants include Parkway, Quanta Computer, LG Electronics and CMA CGM, alongside continuing backers EIC Fund, Temasek, Saudi Aramco Entrepreneurship Ventures and ISAI.
The company plans to double production capacity in France within two years, add 50 employees over 18 months and advance research into fault-tolerant quantum computers. Pasqal builds processors that use laser-controlled neutral atoms, with applications in optimisation and simulation.
The private round formed one part of a broader financing plan announced ahead of Pasqal’s proposed business combination with Bleichroeder Acquisition Corp. II. A separate convertible commitment was also announced; its proceeds are distinct from the €170 million private raise.
