Pandektes raises €13.5m Series A for legal data infrastructure

Pandektes announced a €13.5 million Series A on October 5, led by Alstin Capital with participation from PROfounders, Scale Capital and existing investors.
The Copenhagen company is extending its business beyond a legal research interface towards infrastructure other legal technology products can use. By opening more of its platform through an API, it aims to let developers build applications on structured legal information without recreating the collection and maintenance work themselves.
Pandektes says more than 500 law firms, companies and public institutions use its platform, with around two-thirds of organisations that test it becoming customers. Its research service is active in Denmark, Germany and Switzerland.
