os.energy secures €1m pre-seed as Osmund enters Danish electricity retail
PSV Tech backs the Copenhagen company’s move out of stealth with a licensed consumer electricity business built on its own software platform.
From a year in stealth to a live retailer
The funding disclosure accompanied Osmund’s public launch after a year of development. The team secured its own electricity-supplier licence, giving it responsibility for serving customers as well as building the software behind the service.
The founders bring experience from adjacent industries: Niklas Allamand Dib previously built home-decarbonisation company Bodil.energy, while Maziar Zamani was founding CTO of motion-capture business Rokoko. The new venture combines that energy and hardware-software experience in a consumer-facing electricity business.
