Opio raises €4m to automate financial due diligence for deal teams
The funding backs software that structures data-room and ledger evidence so transaction-services teams can spend more time analysing acquisitions.
Tracing adjustments back to source records
Opio collects and structures company financial data from data rooms and accounting records for transaction-services teams and auditors preparing acquisition diligence. It suggests EBITDA and net-debt adjustments with evidence tied to the underlying accounts, allowing professionals to inspect the source behind each analysis.
The company says the workflow saves teams 27 per cent of their time and is used in 15 countries. That creates room for advisers to focus on judgement and deal-specific questions while the software handles document preparation and reconciliation.
Scaling a specialist finance workflow
The €4 million round includes Frst, Seedcamp and Global Founders Capital. Opio is applying the capital to a narrow but consequential step in acquisitions: turning fragmented company records into traceable diligence work that finance professionals can review.
