Alpha Edison led the round to build Onix’s personal-intelligence platform around licensed expert knowledge.
Personal AI built on licensed expertise
Onix gives users private AI experiences based on knowledge licensed from individual experts, while letting those experts govern how their intellectual property is used. The company is developing guidance across health and wellness, with conversations designed to draw on a user’s context rather than return generic answers.
The pre-seed will support platform development, expert onboarding, and research and evaluation ahead of public availability. The announcement reported the financing as $5 million USD, equivalent to $7 million CAD.
