Omega Seiki Mobility secures about $6M in additional funding
The Indian manufacturer supplies commercial and passenger EVs, including vehicles used by logistics fleets.
Electric vehicles for high-throughput fleets
Omega Seiki Mobility makes cargo three-wheelers, passenger EVs, premium electric two-wheelers and light commercial vehicles for logistics and other transport use. Battery-management systems and telemetry help fleet operators monitor vehicle performance and uptime; the company says its customers include Amazon, Flipkart, Zomato, BigBasket, Porter, Maersk and Nestlé.
The newly announced approximately $6 million tranche follows a separate financing earlier in the month, bringing the two recent raises to about $12 million. Four investor groups co-led this additional funding. Omega Seiki plans to increase factory capacity, widen its dealer and service network from 150 to 250 touchpoints and accelerate product launches.
