Odyssey Energy Solutions secures $74M in equity and debt financing
A mixed financing package backs platform expansion for renewable-energy projects in emerging markets.
Financing the distributed-energy supply chain
Odyssey Energy Solutions connects distributed-energy developers with equipment suppliers and financiers. Developers can aggregate purchases across the platform to access volume pricing and embedded supply-chain credit, while the marketplace also connects projects with capital and helps teams manage delivery across more than 50 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
The newly announced package combines equity and debt, bringing the company’s reported cumulative funding to $94 million. Broadscale Group, FMO and Al Mada Ventures led the financing, with a broad group of venture investors and development-finance institutions also participating. The proceeds will support platform and procurement capabilities.
