Nutrifresh receives ₹90 crore first tranche from DFC
The initial disbursement supports controlled-environment agriculture projects near Pune.
Nutrifresh is turning a proposed financing package into farm development, with the first ₹90 crore deployed by the US development-finance institution. The broader ₹400 crore package remains a proposal; the current disbursement is the first tranche.
The financing follows a smart-agriculture memorandum signed with Maharashtra and Rural Enhancers Group at Davos. At the April announcement, the partners expected an initial project across Bhor and Purandar near Pune to begin operating in July, connecting international capital with locally managed farming infrastructure.
