Nouscom closes €120 million Series D for cancer interception trial

M Ventures and Revelation Partners co-lead financing to advance investigational NOUS-209.

Nouscom closed an oversubscribed €120 million Series D on October 19, co-led by M Ventures and Revelation Partners. New backing includes Angelini Industries through Angelini Investments, the European Investment Bank through Aurea, and Neva SGR, alongside returning investors.

Proceeds will advance NOUS-209 into a global trial intended to support registration for cancer interception in people with Lynch syndrome. The investigational immunotherapy uses viral vectors to deliver shared neoantigens and train immune responses against cancerous and precancerous cells.

The financing supports the next development step for the Basel biotech, which also has research and manufacturing operations in Italy. NOUS-209 remains in clinical development; the planned trial is designed to evaluate an approach for people with an inherited elevated cancer risk.
