Playing an instrument controls the game
Learners use a real instrument while the app listens and responds to their playing. The game pairs that feedback with a structured curriculum, while teachers can monitor practice between lessons. Notey plans to add piano, voice and recorder experiences by the first quarter of 2027.
Building distribution in Europe
The $3 million package includes a $1 million non-dilutive development grant from Malta Enterprise. A newly opened Maltese subsidiary will support European product work and partnerships; Telemach will distribute the app to households in the Balkans. Funding also supports hiring and a planned tool for creating new music-learning game worlds.
