Notes.fm raises $5m for music distribution and royalty tools
The platform combines music delivery, publishing administration and royalty collection in one subscription-based service for independent artists and music companies.
A single workflow for releases and rights
Notes.fm lets artists send releases to streaming services, social platforms, DJ pools and sync channels while managing credits and music identifiers. It also brings publishing administration and royalty collection into the same account, including payments from The MLC and SoundExchange.
The company says it charges a flat monthly subscription rather than taking a share of royalties. The product is designed to give independent musicians and music businesses one place to manage distribution and review catalog income across recording and songwriting rights.
