Satellite connections without mechanical dishes

Portal electronically steers multiple transmitting and receiving beams to track spacecraft across different orbits. Northwood supplies the antennas and the supporting firmware, modems, network and operational software, reducing the infrastructure satellite operators have to assemble themselves.

Funding the next wave of ground sites

The company targets more than a dozen Portal arrays per month and 18 global ground sites by the end of 2026. Its separate $49.8 million Space Force contract pays for satellite-control infrastructure; it is commercial revenue, rather than part of this investment round.
