Norbert Health raises $14M Series A for robotic care system
The company pairs mobile robots with clinical workflows in skilled nursing.
Robots built around care-team workflows
Norbert Health combines contactless vital-sign sensing, clinical protocol execution, structured assessments and electronic health record integration in a system that turns robotic platforms into nursing assistants. The robots make daily rounds in U.S. skilled-nursing facilities, collecting information and delivering structured notes and alerts to care teams.
The company says its system is investigational and pending FDA clearance. The $14 million Series A, supported by William A. Marino with Cardinal Group and joined by Exor Seeds, CareIT and individual investors, brings Norbert’s reported total funding to $19 million as it works to broaden its clinical capabilities and deployments.
