Neural Labs Africa wins $5,000 Meta AI Academy grant
The Kenyan medical-imaging startup won an equity-free prize for NeuralSight, its tele-radiology and reporting platform.
Neural Labs Africa won a $5,000 equity-free award at the Meta AI Academy Kenya Pitchathon on 16 October. The package also includes Meta advertising credits.
The Nairobi company develops NeuralSight, which helps healthcare facilities manage medical images and connect with remote radiologists for interpretation and reporting.
Neural Labs Africa was one of two winners selected from ten finalists. It also received a place at Meta’s AI summit in Istanbul in November. The advertising credits are additional support, separate from the cash award.
