Nekkyo announces about ¥200m in equity and bank financing
The new entertainment-platform business combines backing from Yoyogi Animation Group with a Mizuho Bank loan to build its product and organization.
Nekkyo has announced approximately ¥200 million in financing, combining a loan from Mizuho Bank with a third-party equity allotment to Yoyogi Animation Group. The company disclosed the funding on August 27, 2026, following its establishment in June.
Building the next stage
The financing will support development of its entertainment AX platform and strengthen the organization. The company did not break down the total between the bank loan and equity investment.
Nekkyo is building a platform that connects fan clubs, ecommerce, ticketing, social media and other fan touchpoints through a common identity. It plans to use data analysis and AI to help entertainment businesses understand and develop the value of their intellectual property.
Its model brings planning, production, development, operation and analysis into one team. The company sees that integration as a way to address fragmented systems and preserve an entertainment property’s character as it expands across digital services.
