M-Fly raises an undisclosed round as demand grows for its drone systems
A young Ukrainian manufacturer is scaling a product line built around field requirements
From a volunteer project to a defence supplier
M-Fly says it began at the end of 2023 as a volunteer project focused on military needs, before becoming a manufacturer of systems for unmanned platforms. Its products include laser-guidance equipment and gyro-stabilized gimbals, giving drone integrators a way to add stabilized imaging or targeting capability to an airframe.
The company’s announcement ties the latest investment to rising demand from Ukrainian customers and NATO countries. That makes production capacity and adapting products to operational requirements central to the business, alongside the sensor and stabilization engineering described in its product line.
Existing and new backers
MITS Capital led the round, Freedom Fund invested again and Norwegian defence-technology fund Gardar joined as a new backer. The amount and valuation were not disclosed; the $1.4 million M-Fly had raised by mid-2026 is a prior cumulative figure, not the size of this round.
