A drug for older dogs

Loyal’s lead program, LOY-002, targets healthy lifespan extension in senior dogs. Its STAY efficacy study had enrolled more than 1,300 dogs across over 70 veterinary clinics when the financing was announced.

Preparing for launch

The $100 million Series C was led by age1, with Baillie Gifford participating. Loyal will fund the remaining regulatory work, expand its scientific platform and team, and prepare for commercialization. LOY-002 had completed two of the three major requirements for FDA expanded conditional approval.
