SubSea Craft buys 40% stake in LORILLION

The multi-million-pound investment supports British battery engineering and production.

LORILLION plans to grow its engineering team beyond seventy people, advance its battery-management technology and open a Midlands production facility in 2027. The precise investment value was not disclosed.

The companies already work together on batteries for SubSea Craft’s VICTA vessel. Bringing battery development closer to the vessel manufacturer gives the partners greater control over a critical supply chain.
