LOMBY raises ¥387 million in Series A
The Japanese robotics company is scaling its LM-A autonomous delivery system for short trips from local shops to nearby homes.
Robots for neighborhood deliveries
LOMBY's LM-A follows mapped routes and uses onboard sensing with remote monitoring to deliver orders from nearby retailers. Customers receive a notification and unlock the cargo compartment at the drop-off point. The company has tested neighborhood delivery with retailers including Seven-Eleven Japan and is moving from deployments toward larger-scale production.
